The Challenge
The client needed to relieve production workers from manual bushing insertion. The goal was to create a robotic cell with an automatic press, capable of handling various part types and finished products.
The Solution
In collaboration with GRIPON, a robotic cell with an automatic press was created. GRIPON handled the electrical assembly, PLC programming, and HMI panel. Together we established robot communication via PROFINET I/O — including numerical value exchange, required signals, and cycle logic. All robot software and configuration was done by me. The installation was completed successfully in cooperation with the client's on-site staff.
